Amendments to Regulation 2019/1793 came into force on the 7th March 2024, which seeks to control high-risk food and food not of animal origin (HRFNAO) imported into Great Britain.

On this amendment bananas from Ecuador were added to Annex I (CN Codes 0803 90 10 and 0803 90 90). Dover BCP has now been approved to accept these products, so Dover is now a BCP for the products listed below.

  • Pistachios from Iran, Annex II
  • Pistachios from Turkey, Annex II
  • Dried Figs from Turkey, Annex II
  • Bananas from Ecuador, Annex I

If you import these products though Dover, please make sure you pre notify us on IPAFFS.

Any other HRFNAO being imported via Dover must be ‘EU cleared’ and have a validated CHED-D from the EU. Please see our BTOM updates for EU consigned HRFNAO changes.
