PHILIS DES Update Notification

Please see the attached document from SCPHA which provides an overview of the added features to PHILIS DES. The document can be found here. The changes included within this release note are the following:

Removal Bin

PHILIS DES has been updated to re-introduce the removal bin functionality for uploaded supporting documentation for COI (certificate of inspections) and PDD (Plastic declaration document) notifications.

Character Limit

Across PHILIS DES, the character limit for Container / Trailer number field has been restricted to 20 characters.

Special Characters in Supporting Documentation

When supporting documentation is uploaded to the notification, any special characters (£$%^&*$) present in the document file name will now be automatically removed.

Updated to PDD Submission Form

When raising a PDD notification via PHILIS DES, Box 9 ‘Number of articles in the consignment’ has been updated to restrict submission if letter is entered in this field. When raising a PDD notification via PHILIS DES, Box 9 ‘Number of articles in the consignment’ has been updated to restrict submission if letter is entered in this field.
